Yes - there will be TWO Bike Valet areas this year at Festival:

The West Side will be in the parking lot behind the closed church at Euclid Ave. and Druid Circle, near the Delta Park Stage.

The East Side will be at Euclid Ave. and Poplar Circle, near the Wonderroot Stage.

Pets are NOT Allowed

Please remember that, by City of Atlanta Ordinance, pets are not allowed at Festivals, “unless part of a planned festival program or assisting persons with disabilities”. This prohibition includes “dogs, cats, snakes, birds, pigs, etc.”, and applies whether or not the pet is leashed. As the ordnance says, this is for the pet’s protection as well as for the protection of festival patrons. Thanks!!

The Inman Park Dance Festival celebrates its 12th year this year. In its history, the program has presented over 450 performers, paid Atlanta area dance companies over $33,000 in performance fees and served an audience of over 11,500. This year’s program highlights both professional and pre-professional talent. Its goal is to promote dance companies committed to presenting great dance in the State of Georgia.

Montessori Institute of Atlanta has trained Primary (ages 3-6) teachers since 1968. In 2006, the Institute added to its offerings the Assistants to Infancy Course (ages 0-3). Beginning in the summer of 2010, MIA starts an Elementary (ages 6-12) teacher training. All courses lead to the internationally recognized diploma of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), Amsterdam, Netherlands. Founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori, AMI is the world recognized authority in Montessori education.

The Montessori Institute of Atlanta is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to:

Foster the development of excellent training courses at all levels.
Support the diversity, sense of community and common goals of the Atlanta Metro AMI schools.

Our Better Nature is a band based out of Atlanta, Georgia with members that attend the Atlanta Institute of Music. Our Better Nature brings a whole new sound to the table. Mixing hip-hop, soul, and rap, they use their knowledge of music to write songs that are catchy and original. Our Better Nature is soon releasing their first EP called The Fallen.

JK & the Lost Boys

Growing up in Conyers, Georgia means you’re just down the road from Atlanta and that’s probably a good thing for Justin Keller of JK & the Lost Boys. “I was close enough to be exposed to lots of music but still far enough away that I could do my own thing,” he says. Drummer Casey Courter talks about their high school beginnings, “Our first gig was an event at our school we did as a favor for a friend. Since then, everything’s been real natural and just gotten better over time.” Producing the band’s first cd gave guitarist Jaz Dixon a deep understanding of the material. “I knew the music backwards and forwards, so collaborating with JK and Casey came real easily,” explains Two-Story Studio engineer Dixon. Whether luck or fate, an easy-feeling, organic vibe keeps popping up when members talk about JK & the Lost Boys.
